* Sweden - Volvo unit extends wage, working hour cuts
Stockholm,Sweden -Reuters, by Jon Loades-Carter -8 July 2009: -- World No.2 truck maker Volvo said on Wednesday its Powertrain unit had expanded working hour and income reduction agreements with white collar unions to cover all its operations in Sweden... Volvo said in a statement it had signed deals, which aim to cut working hours by about four days a month and reduce pay up to 10 percent, with employees in Gothenburg and Malmo, meaning it now had such agreements for all its white collar workers in its Nordic home market...
