* USA - 30 June: Amerijet International, Inc., a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Nations Express, Inc. Based in Charlotte, NC, Nations provides arranged on-time and intact delivery of time sensitive cargo by air and road. Terms were not disclosed.
* USA - 2 July: Landstar System, Inc. announced the acquisition of Premier Logistics, Inc. Based in Detroit, Premier provides freight management services for customers through its proprietary web-based software. Terms were not disclosed.
* USA - 2 July: Landstar System, Inc. announced the acquisition of A3 Integration LLC ("A3i"). Based in Ann Arbor, MI, A3i provides shipment optimization, carrier visibility and supply chain event management, all with multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-modal capabilities. Terms were not disclosed.
