Cassidy -Mar 12, 2009: -- Telecommunications giant AT&T will spend up to $565 million on 15,000 trucks and cars powered by compressed natural gas, a step hailed as the largest corporate commitment to CNG-powered vehicles to date in the United States... The CNG commitment represents a big leap in AT&T’s use of alternative fuels, and it may boost interest in increased use of domestic natural gas as an over-the-road fuel among freight truck and service-vehicle fleet operators nationwide...
