WEATHER TROUBLES * USA - Stay off snow-packed northern Arizona roads
Tucson,Ariz,USA -The Associated Press/The Trucker -10 Feb 2009: -- A wintry Pacific storm pounded Arizona Monday leaving motorists stranded, highways closed and lots of bent metal from accidents involving tractor trailers and motor vehicles... The National Weather Service said as much as 20 inches of snow could fall above 7,000 feet in elevation across southeastern Arizona. A few inches were forecast in the Tucson area... The Arizona Department of Public Safety urged motorists to stay off northern Arizona roads because of whiteout and slippery conditions...Labels: weather troubles
