BORDER TROUBLES * Greek/Bulgaria - Around 140 trucks waiting at Promahon checkpoint
Sofia,Bulgaria -FOCUS News Agency , by Ana TOMOVA -1 February 2009: -- Approximately 140 TIR trucks are waiting at Promahon checkpoint to enter Bulgaria, the Border Police at Kulata checkpoint announced, cited by Focus - Pirin Radio... Bulgarian border authorities have met with their Greek counterparts, calling for the border crossing to be opened on both sides.. The Greek border police said the protesting farmers were unforeseeable in their actions... The Greek authorities do not know when the barrier will be lifted because there are a large number of tractors at the Greek border checkpoint. More than 50 trucks are waiting at Kulata checkpoint...Labels: border troubles
