The experts say that better technology and reduced speeds could prevent many of the rollovers that snarl traffic and cost lives on GTA highways... Next year, devices that limit speed for trucks will be mandatory on Ontario highways... Electronic stabilizers that will slow a truck even before the driver can feel the vehicle tipping also deserve a look, says OPP Chief Superintendent Bill Grodzinski... Such stabilizers, already standard in one major manufacturer's trucks, are also widely used in cars and SUVs...
