San Francisco,CAL,USA -Fleet Owner -Oct 21, 2008: -- ATDynamics has announced its TrailerTail rear-drag reduction device for tractor-trailers has received an exemption from the U.S. Dept. of Transportation’s length restrictions on commercial motor vehicles, meeting federal standards on crash safety, lighting and conspicuity and size... According to ATDynamics, 2007 third party testing showed the TrailerTail improves fuel efficiency by more than 5% at 62 mph, and the product’s performance has been recognized by both the U.S. EPA SmartWay program and the California Air Resources Board...
