Tokyo,Japan -DPA/The Earth Times (UK) -2 Sep 2008: -- Japanese automaker Hino Motors Ltd and major trading company Marubeni Corp announced a joint venture Tuesday to sell vehicles in India. The two companies established Hino Motors Sales India Private Ltd with capital of 490 million yen (4.53 million dollars) to meet the growing demand for trucks and buses in India... Hino Motors owns 65 per cent of the firm based in Mumbai, with Marubeni holding the remainder... Sydney,NSW,Australia -The Australian Mining -2 September 2008: -- WA Hino will unveil its latest medium-duty trucks on Stand 2154 during the 2008 Goldfields Mining Expo (GME) at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club from October 28 to 30, 2008... The Hino 500 Series 2627 and the 1322 4x4 are said to offer increased levels of performance, fuel efficiency, safety and driver comfort... The 500 also features clean-burning ADR 80/02 emissions-compliant engines and offers the flexibility of GVMs ranging from 10,400 kg to 26,000 kg... WA Hino supplies vehicles ranging from 2 tonnes through to 72 tonnes, with various models available in 4x2, 4x4 and 6x4 variants... The company is said to have close ties with the Toyota Group...
