Hong Kong,China -Cargonews Asia -22 Sept 2008: -- The high oil price has spawned the production of more fuel-saving temperature-controlled units by Thermo King for the trucking industry in the US... The company has launched a new SB+ line of temperature-control units for trailers to help offset the growing challenges faced by the trucking industry such as higher fuel and operating costs and increased driver turnover. Every unit comes with a system that makes choosing optimum unit settings simple for drivers and reduces errors. Thermo King has also come up with an innovative system called SmartPower, which helps save fuel and cut operating costs by up to 75 percent.
