PROTESTING FUEL PRICES * USA - Truckers to rally May 10
A trucking firm owner and operator has called for a town hall meeting of fellow big-rig drivers for this Saturday, May 10.

Robert Solfio of Big Tiger Trucking hopes several hundred truck drivers will attend the event. It will take place starting at 4 p.m. on the River Ridge High School campus... State Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey, is scheduled to attend, Solfio said... Matt Ubben, vice president of the Florida Trucking Association, and David Mica, executive director of the Florida Petroleum Council, plan to be there, too, he said. Invitations have gone out to Gov. Charlie Crist and U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite... A rally of truckers in Washington, D.C. is planned for next week with about 5,000 trucks circling the Capitol, Solfio said. He wants truckers in the Tampa Bay area to protest as well...
