TRUCKERS' COMMENTS * USA - Truckers Upset By Fuel Prices
Sioux Falls, South Dakota,USA -KSFY, by intheindustry -29 April 2008: -- I am in the trucking industry. I am not in favor of cutting fuel taxes to give South Dakotans a reprieve for a short time. The roads will need to be fixed, and the money will come from somewhere, most likely a raise in licensing for commercial vehicles, which means that more money out of the truckers already slim bank accounts. Perhaps the answer is to cut back all pork spending on the federal level, so at the end of the year, all citizens would have a little money left over to pay for fuel...Labels: fuel costs troubles
