Warrendale,PA,USA -Automotive Engineering Online, by John Kendall -February, 2008: -- The latest Renault Magnum features a 200-mm (7.9-in) higher roof line and revised exterior details including the visor and front grille... The revised model will be given its international debut at the CV Show, staged at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, U.K., in April... The instrument panel has been redesigned, still within the curved dashboard carried over from the previous model. Changes include an LCD information screen, digital speedometer incorporated in the analog rev counter, and controls for the Optidriver+ automated manual gearbox moved from the floor to a steering column-mounted selector... Other changes include the introduction of modular interior lighting, the option of a thicker sprung bunk mattress, and a range of audio/visual options.
