INFRA... STRUCTURES !!! * USA - Residents say coal company trucks destroying pavement

Beckley,WV,USA -The Beckley Register-Herald (subscription), by Bill Billeter -24 Mar 2008: -- Residents of the Raleigh County communities of Purity Hill and Allentown are concerned that the road which leads to their homes has been torn up by coal trucks hauling slate from the Beckley Pocahontas mine in Eccles... Mike Streho said the road is full of potholes and constantly covered in a wet black sludge of coal dust, oil and water left behind by the trucks. The substance covers everything, including Streho’s white car. He described it as “the most disgusting thing I ever saw.”... (Photo by W.
