Poland -Polish Radio External Service, by Joanna Najfeld -10 Oct 2007: -- The condition of Polish roads may leave a lot to be desired, but when it comes to road safety and driving skills, Poland can boast the best professional truck driver in Europe. 34-year old Marek Szerenos from Poland has won the prestigious Young European Truck Driver Contest, beating 26 national champions from all other EU member states... Standing on the podium and holding the keys to his just won Scania truck, Marek appeared to be moved by his victory... That was at Scania headquarters in Sweden, where the competition took place last month... Labels: awards
