Battle Creek,MI,USA -The Battle Creek Enquirer, by Arnie Diehl -9 Apr 2007: -- Arnie (Arnold) Diehl and representatives of Command Electronics, Inc, Schoolcraft, Michigan have just returned from Louisville, KY where they introduced Mr. Diehl's invention the Tandem Locking Pin Locator at the nations largest trucking shows, the Mid-America Trucking Show... Swift Transportation, Phoenix, AZ was quoted pricing to place the LPL-600 in each of their drivers standard tool kits and Prime Inc, of Springfield MO has already placed the LPL-600 in their company stores for the drivers to purchase. The Tandem Locking Pin Locator is also being looked at as a possible tool to reduce Worker Compensation Claims resulting from slip and fall injury... The Locking Pin Locator (LPL-600) works as the drivers extra set of eye and allows him or her to reposition (slide) the trailer over the tandems as through there was another person spotting for them. The trailer requires moving whenever weight distribution is at illegal proportions... LPL-600 also minimizes the risk of driver injury by reducing the number of times the driver must exit and enter the cab, slip and fall is the number one cause of driver injury in the transportation industry...
