Islamabad,Pakistan -Associated Press of Pakistan -Apr 8, 2007: -- A Chinese firm would invest US $ 100 million for setting up of first-ever heavy duty truck, dumper and carrier manufacturing plant in Pakistan, said Ma Xiaoyan representative of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Company (CNHDTGC)... He said Sino Pak Truck Private Limited has been established in Pakistan for the introduction of wide range of heavy duty vehicles manufactured by CNHDTGC...
* USA - Isuzu Buys Land in Alabama
NY,USA -Bloomberg, by Naoko Fujimura -April 9, 2007: -- Isuzu Motors Ltd., Japan's largest maker of light-duty trucks, bought land in Alabama as it considers resuming vehicle production in the U.S. for the first time since 2002. The company bought 540,000 square meters (133 acres) near Pinson, north of Birmingham, for $7.8 million in December... Isuzu, 5.9 percent owned by Toyota Motor Corp., said it may build an assembly plant in North America if sales in the region reach 50,000 units a year from about 33,000 in 2006...
