The command awarded two contracts to Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems for a total of $649 million to produce Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle trucks through 2008, according to a press release from Stewart & Stevenson’s owner, Armor Holdings Inc. ..
