Large trucks may only leave major highways to go directly to a pickup or delivery, or if drivers need fuel, repairs, food or rest

TRENTON,PA,USA -The Philadelphia Inquirer (Philadelphia,PA), by Jennifer Moroz -18 Nov 2006: -- Drivers of large trucks in New Jersey could only stray from major highways if they needed repairs, were making a pickup or delivery, or seeking food, fuel or a place to rest, under proposed rules released yesterday by the state Department of Transportation... The regulations are an attempt to satisfy court rulings that declared unconstitutional the state's original effort to keep double tractor trailers and trucks more than 102 inches wide off secondary roads...
