Safety - EU - Proposes blind spot mirrors for trucks
Brussels,Belgium - Stuff.co.nz (Wellington,New Zealand) -7 Oct 2006: -- The European Commission proposed new rules to improve road safety on Thursday that would require big trucks to install 'blind spot' mirrors and EU member states to improve infrastructure on their streets and highways... The rules would ensure that vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes installed the new mirrors so that their drivers could see cyclists or motorbike riders better...
