Dangerous Pedestrians - USA - Dancing With Trucks on Buford Hwy.

It is like an asphalt dance floor, where pedestrians and motorists often go cheek-to-cheek... On Buford Highway, it is not uncommon to see parents with children in tow, trying to cross the roadway... Even though Chaiwan Kim has lived and worked near Buford Highway for more than 30 years. She won’t dare take a walk on the wild side... The Georgia Department of Transportation is now in the community, to show area residents a massive improvement plan that includes sidewalks, more crosswalks, and more lighting. It also includes a series of medians and pedestrian islands, a sort of refuge for people who now find themselves stuck in the middle...
