Trucking company U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc. appears to be continuing a successful growth strategy with its purchase of a stake of truckload carrier Abilene Motor Express Inc., said a Morgan Keegan analyst Thursday... Chattanooga, Tenn.-based U.S. Xpress said it bought a 49 percent stake in Abilene Motor Express for an undisclosed sum. U.S. Xpress has an option to buy Abilene's remaining 51 percent interest until August 2010...
