USA -eTrucker, by Max Heine -27 Aug 2006: -- Peterbilt announced at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas that its flagship Model 379 will go out in style with a 1,000-unit special Legacy Class Edition... the company also announced a new medium-duty cabover and new medium-duty engines... Peterbilt said earlier this year that it would replace the 379 with the new Model 389, which incorporates key styling elements of the 379 while introducing advanced technologies and refinements for improved aerodynamics...
