Report - UK - Thatcham and Autopolis commissioned by European Parliament to report on implications of proposed EC design protection directive
UK -Auto Industry -22 June 2006: -- Thatcham, the insurer-funded vehicle repair research centre, and Autopolis, the UK-based automotive management consultancy, have been commissioned by the European Parliament to prepare a report on the safety of crash repair parts... The report will draw upon the experience of Thatcham, which has tested non-OE crash repair parts and investigated manufacturing processes... Autopolis will conduct interviews with industry experts Europe-wide, in particular with vehicle manufacturers, repairers, aftermarket parts distributors and consumer organisations such as Euro NCAP...
