Freight Revolution Inc. has created a Web-based load board, a site on which shippers can post freight moves and on which independent truckers and trucking companies can sign up to handle them... Unlike other Internet load boards, such as getloaded.com, freightrevolution.com is free for truckers and shippers. The company's payoff comes from providing a service known as load factoring, essentially buying accounts receivable, for site users willing to pay a small percentage of their invoices to get paid faster...
