Australia -Supply Chain Review -15 June 2006: -- Higher fuel prices and environmental policy has seen governments back the quest to find new, inexpensive and environmentally sustainable energy sources, including biofuels... Despite the attractions of biodiesel and other alternative fuels there are also usage risks that require careful evaluation say Australian insurance brokers OAMPS... The company says the risks include sub-standard product quality, improper blending with traditional fuels, poor storage and potential to damage engines which are not designed or correctly modified for differing blends...
