Oshkosh Truck Corp. purchase AK Specialty Vehicles from HealthTronics Inc.
Wiscosin,USA -The Chicago Tribune -24 June 2006: -- Oshkosh Truck Corp., a maker of emergency and military vehicles, agreed to purchase AK Specialty Vehicles from HealthTronics Inc. for $140 million to gain medical and broadcast trucks... AK, based in Harvey, makes vehicles that transport medical equipment such as catheterization labs and mammography machines, the Oshkosh, Wis.-based company said... AK also produces vehicles for TV and radio stations. The acquisition is to close in July...
