Prediction - Germany - DaimlerChrysler sees flat 2006 commercial vehicles demand
STUTTGART, Germany -Reuters/Automotive News -Jan 30, 2006 -- DaimlerChrysler expects a flat market for trucks and buses this year, the head of its commercial vehicles unit said on Monday, but he would not rule out job cuts as a global truck boom wanes... "I expect stable demand globally," told reporters, saying tougher emission standards in the European Union and United States and new safety rules could bring forward some orders for commercial vehicles this year...
