EcoNews - Australia - Queensland bio-diesel plant operational by February
Australia -Supply Chain Review -11 Jan 2006: The local biofuels industry is about to take another step forward with news that a bio-diesel plant in Narangba, Queensland will be fully operational by February... The facility, currently under construction, will produce 75 million litres of bio-diesel per annum commencing the second half of 2006... A joint venture company established by the directors of the Narangba plant has an exclusive sub-licence for the technology for all countries outside of the European Union and while in this instance the owners have applied the technology to their own plant, it is believed they will actively use their licence to sell other plants in other parts of the world... The spokesperson says a Western Australian company has placed an order for a plant. The Brisbane plant will use Queensland tallow as prime feedstock to produce the bio-diesel...
