Production - Canada - Toyota truck unit plans Ontario plant
Toronto, Ontario, Canada -Globe and Mail/Wall Street Journal -Nov 01, 2005: -- Toyota Motor Corp. truck affiliate Hino Motors Ltd. plans to open a plant in Ontario next year as it tries to double North American production and sales of big medium-duty “inter-city” trucks to 10,000 vehicles a year by 2007... The truck maker also says it will set up a second U.S. assembly plant in Arkansas, adding momentum to the Toyota group's expansion in the United States, according to a story on the Journal's website...
