Oshkosh,Wis,USA -The Northwestern, by Alex Hummel -Nov. 02, 2005: -- Like the military juggernauts it produces, Oshkosh Truck Corp.’s 2005 fiscal finish was huge, thanks to unyielding fourth quarter defense sales that grew 58.1 percent, or $355 million, over 2004’s total... Overall, Oshkosh Truck saw net income increase 42 percent to $160.2 million, or $2.18 per share, in fiscal 2005, up from $112.8 million, $1.57 per share, in fiscal 2004. The company had sales of $2.96 billion in fiscal 2005, up from $2.26 billion in fiscal 2004... Truck expects the defense success to continue into 2006...
