Customs 'unfairly criticised' over ports crisis
Sidney,Australia -ABC Online -21 Nov 2005: -- P&O Ports has defended Customs over its handling of the port crisis, saying it has been unfairly criticised for a backlog of cargo in major Australian cities... P&O Ports managing director Tim Blood has given evidence at a Federal Parliamentary inquiry into the freight industry in Sydney today... He says the real problem behind delays is that trucking companies do not deliver and receive containers around the clock...
