--- Operating profit of € 204 million, the MAN group benefited from the "structural improvements" undertaken by MAN Truck & Bus (excluding MAN Latin America and MAN Diesel & Turbo)... The German group MAN, a subsidiary of Volkswagen , announced its 2016 results with pride. With a turnover of € 13.6 billion, down 0.73 % from 2015, the engine manufacturer generated € 204 million in operating income, up 122 % (from 92 million euros € in 2015). Operating profit margin increased from 0.7 % to 1.5 ... In Europe, in countries like Italy and Poland, demand for industrial vehicles remains high. In Brazil, the reverse is true with a recession in progress, which justifies that the MAN Truck & Bus teams, MAN Latin America and Scania collaborate, under the control of Volkswagen Truck & Bus, to create common components... MAN also plans to develop new business models, with its digital brand RIO inaugurated in 2016, which seeks to connect all players in the supply chain : shippers, regulators, transporters, drivers and recipients...
