** Connecticut - XPO says reductions in back-office at former Con-way Freight operation
-- XPO Logistics Inc. has cut 190 jobs from the former Con-way Inc. trucking business the company acquired last fall, the company said Friday, reducing about 1% of its North American workforce... The reductions, mostly in administration, management and back-office positions, were part of a planned effort to blend the Con-way operations with other businesses XPO has brought in under a series of acquisitions in recent years...
