TROUBLES BACKING THAT BIG TRAILER ? * USA: No Problem: Now new technology help you !

* Michigan - Trailer got your back up? Help is coming
-- Brandon Herzog, a software engineer, turned on the Trailer Reverse Assist technology Continental has developed and I positioned that trailer between the cones as if I’d been doing it for years... I wasn’t even inside the truck when I backed that trailer in place. Instead, I was walking beside the truck and trailer, controlling their movements via a notebook computer tablet... Cameras on the front, sides and rear of the truck are “intelligent,” which Herzog said means they not only capture images but measure angles and movement and calculate variables based on various algorithms to assure not only proper but safe placement of vehicle and trailer. The Trailer Reverse Assist technology could be installed immediately in my 2013 Nissan Frontier...
