Some people restore classic trucks—and a lot of those folks are gathering at the Iowa 80 truck stop this week for the 36th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree... Traveling on I-80 west of Davenport, about 3 hours out from Chicago, you can't miss it... The trucks are the attraction, but it’s the people that make the annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree special. Here’s a sampling from three days of hanging out at Iowa 80... Some photos of the early arrivals... Even more impressive than the passion for trucking the exhibitors have is that several of the trucks are still hard at work, dropping by on the way to drop off a load...
