-- A lorry driver from County Antrim has told how migrants, desperate to get to the UK, surrounded his truck in Calais... Steven Miller from Larne is parked in a lorry park after spending Tuesday stuck on the motorway, one mile outside the French port... Travellers and lorry drivers still face long delays following the no-warning strike by French ferry workers, which halted Channel Tunnel services. Hundreds of migrants tried to board UK-bound lorries amid the chaos... Speaking to Good Morning Ulster, Steven said: "I tried to get into the tunnel this morning, but there were a lot of trucks and immigrants on the motorway"... In the past few days, Steven says he has witnessed lots of migrants attempting to get onto trucks... About 3,000 migrants are estimated to be living rough around Calais, waiting for a chance to cross the channel...

... Moreover, at 03.50 (local time) on Tuesday, employees of French ferry company MyFerryLink went on strike in protest against plans to sell two of their ferries to the rival firm DFDS... The strike forced the closure of the Port of Calais... On Tuesday, Eurostar tweeted that a fire caused by striking ferry workers had damaged the track, leading to all trains being cancelled... Steven added: "Everyone is really frustrated because this is happening a lot in Calais. If there's not an immigrant problem, there's the dockers striking, or the boat company striking..."
