Delta,BC,CAN -South Delta Leader -June 17, 2014: -- Container truckers who believe a company is undercutting industry rates or harrassing drivers will soon have an avenue to take action... The provincial government, in concert with Port Metro Vancouver, have launched a new "whistleblower service" to provide a way for Lower Mainland container truckers to voice concerns about trucking companies not in compliance with remuneration rates set in the Joint Action Plan which ended a month-long strike earlier this year... The service will also allow whistleblowers to report improperly licensed trucks or driver harrassment, is offered in English and Punjabi and callers may remain anonymous if they so choose...
