* Mississippi - Yokohama Tire to open truck tire plant in 

West Point,MS,USA -Land Line -30 April 2013: -- Yokohama Tire Corp. will build a commercial truck tire plant in West Point, MS, bringing 500 new jobs and producing 1 million tires starting in 2015, the company announced via press release on Monday... The facility will have an initial capital investment of $300 million, and potential plant expansions could reach up to four times the original employment and investment levels. The factory will be the first that Yokohama has built in the United States... The plant will be built on over 500 acres of land with construction expected to begin in September and completion two years later. Yokohama expects to hire approximately 500 employees to work at the facility...
