* Belgium - Commissioner, Siim Kallas, will allow ecocombis border

Brussels,Belgium -Truck and Business, by Claude Yvens -28 Feb 2012: -- Siim Kallas, European Commissioner for Transport, will allow ecocombis to cross borders. Currently, ecocombis used in the Netherlands can not cross the German border, and they could not cross the Belgian border as soon as the Belgian regions have officially launched the testing of eco-combis. According to our German colleagues in the Verkehrs Rundschau, Kallas will send a letter Wednesday to the 27 member states for a new interpretation of European regulations. Cross-border traffic would be allowed only between member states that allow ecocombis their territory, and any member would retain the freedom not to allow the movement of ecocombis...
