Delhi,India -Zig Wheels (India), by Abhishek Chaliha -5 Oct 2011: -- The European Union (EU) which passes legal and political regulations over its 27 member states has decided what Europe needs to reduce pollution levels is trucks with bigger engines with more power... European Union has decided to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector, by 20% between now and 2030 and further cut emissions in the future. The trouble is the number of trucks transporting various consumables and commodities will continue to grow backed by consumer demand... The concept behind trucks with bigger engines is very simple, in essence trucks with larger displacement engines with more power output can carry more freight which will ultimately lead to fewer trucks on the road. This will result in less overall fuel consumption from the transport sector. Also, bigger engines will be able to carry heavier loads such as wind power stations, timber, iron ore and other machinery uphill at lesser rpm than a smaller engine, this means that bigger engines will consume less fuel...
