To supply more than 725 trucks to U.S. Army
Boston,MASS,USA -Reuters, by Scott Malone & Derek Caney -Jan 5, 2010: -- Specialty truckmaker Oshkosh Corp said on Tuesday it received an order worth $290 million to supply cargo trucks to the U.S. Army... The company, which also makes fire trucks and concrete mixers, expects to begin production of more than 725 trucks for the order in April and complete it by September 2011... Demand for military vehicles has boosted Oshkosh's results over the past year, offsetting continued weakness in sales of construction equipment...
