USA - cdlbjobs -January 4, 2010: -- It all depends on the severity of the accidents, and the reason for the suspensions. Always best to be upfront and honest with any company you are approaching for employment. They can see your driving history on your abstract and commercial vehicle operator records anyways...
Comment, by Jane H. -January 4, 2010: -- Many trucking companies will accept past suspensions. Most companies require no more than 2 preventable accidents/incidents, in the past three years... If new to the industry, I would suggest going to a truck stop and looking thru the free trucking mags they have there. They ALL have companies within them, that will accept you as a driver, and/or a new truck driver... Many companies will put you through truck driver training, or do driver training reimbursement, for truck driver schooling you’ve previously taken...
