Melrose Park,Ill,USA -Fleet Owner -Aug 24, 2009: -- “Black box” technology is now available as a factory-installed option on all Navistar International DuraStar and WorkState emergency vehicles... The data recorder information is compliant with National Fire Protection Association Standards, the company said. Among the information recorded by the data recorder/seat display option is lateral accelerations, anti-lock braking system events, safety belt positioning and vehicle speeds... The vehicles also include an optional accommodation package that includes all required sensors, wiring harnesses and in-dash connection to allow for the installation of alternative data...
