Fort Mill,SC,USA -MTD -June 30, 2009: -- Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) has rolled out its HTL1 wide-base medium truck tire for trailer positions... The tire contains 13/21-inch tread depth, which minimizes irregular wear and maximizes fuel efficiency; a six-rib design for even load distribution over the crown of the tire; a decoupler rib for "better irregular wear resistance at the shoulder;" and other features... The HTL1 is available in size 445/50R22.5. It can operate at a maximum load of 10,200 pounds at 120 psi...Labels: tires news
