Allentown,PA,USA -The Allentown Morning Call, by Tyrone Richardson -October 18, 2008: -- Mack Trucks has received a multimillion-dollar contract with the U.S. Army to supply heavy-duty trucks, the latest large contract for the Allentown-based company that has seen dwindling truck manufacturing numbers as a result of a souring U.S. economy... The $28.5 million contract will supply 152 Mack Pinnacle trucks that are used for local and long-distance hauling to the U.S. Army's TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, a Michigan-based weapons research division...
