Dear TWN Reader:
The new Australian heavy vehicle driver fatigue reforms will be implimented on the 29th September 2008. In South Australia, drivers working under the existing standard hours can continue to do so until the 28th March 2009 (six months grace). Those in the TFMS have 12 months to become Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) or Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) accredited. What are the arrangements in your State or Territory?
Please tell us about your recent experience in a brief online survey.
