Calgary,Alb,Canada -The Calgary Herald, by Gina Teel -August 14, 2008: -- Thursday, Mullen Group Income Fund, Canada's largest oilfield and transportation services company, saw its operating income jump nearly 40 per cent in the second quarter, as demand for its core services surged and fuel surcharges fattened the bottom line... Mullen's trucking and logistics segment alone saw year-over-year revenue rise 10.3 per cent to $117 million, in what chairman and chief executive Murray Mullen said most people would describe as a challenging market...


* Trimac revenue, profit decline in second quarter

Calgary,Alta,CAN -Truck News -13 Aug 2008: -- Trimac Income Fund suffered a drop in net earnings and revenue during the second quarter and first half of 2007... Revenue for the second quarter was down $1.2 million in the second quarter compared to the same period a year earlier, but net earnings for the quarter dropped from $7.9 million to $2.6 million. In the first half of 08, Trimac's profit fell from $9.4 million to $3.2 million...
