Kids enjoy Trucks * UK - One day at the seaside
Forget limousines - dozens of disadvantaged youngsters travelled to the seaside in luxury yesterday after being chauffeur driven aboard a convoy of trucks
Norwich,UK -The Norwich Evening Nerws 24, by SAM WILLIAMS -25 August 2008: -- More than 80 heavy goods vehicles, each carrying a deserving young person from the region, left County Hall in Norwich at 10am for a day out at Pleasurewood Hills theme park at Corton, near Lowestoft, as part of the 23rd annual East Coast Truckers' children's convoy... Hundreds of well-wishers braved the wet weather to cheer on the trucks as they left the city to take youngsters with disabilities and from difficult backgrounds out for a day of entertainment... After a day of fun at the theme park the children were picked up by their drivers to travel on to the Yarmouth seafront before heading back to County Hall in the early evening...
