TRUCKING FIRM BANKRUPTCY * USA - Palmer seeks relief: 3 companies filing for

Missoula,MT,USA -The Missoulian, by PAMELA J. PODGER -11 July 2008: -- Jim Palmer Trucking Inc. will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Butte, following similar filings Thursday by two equipment subsidiaries, according to company attorneys... The two subsidiaries, Jim Palmer Equipment and Jim Palmer Equipment II, are indebted to about 16 creditors, according to Andy Patten, the company's bankruptcy lawyer in Billings... He said an emergency filing named banks, equipment lenders and other creditors - including U.S. Bank and G.E. Fleet... Lonnie Wallace, president of Jim Palmer Trucking, met Thursday with the 68 non-driving employees and sent messages to his drivers about the bankruptcy filings... BUT: 12 May 2008: Actionview International Inc. (USA) announced the acquisition of Jim Palmer Trucking, Inc., a reefer carrier based in Missoula, MT operating a fleet 350 tractors and 500 trailers in 44 states... (??)
