Louisville,KY,USA -Truck News (CAN), by James Menzies -31 Mar 2008: -- Carrier Transicold was at the Mid-America Trucking Show last week, to showcase its low-emissions trailer product line... Carrier's newest trailer refrigeration units (TRUs) surpass EPA particulate matter requirements by 30%, company officials pointed out, which is also about 20% better than other models in the marketplace. They also produce 19% less NOx and hydrocarbons than the latest EPA allowance. In addition, the newest TRU engines are 1-2% more fuel-efficient and about 1 decibel quieter than Carrier's previous models...
